How much does regular garden maintenance cost in Wirral?
We price your garden and your regular visit — not a generic day rate.
Need this doing? Garden maintenance

Regular garden maintenance is one of those services that's difficult to put a single price on. Because no two gardens are the same.
One customer might need a small lawn cut, edges tidied and a quick weed. Another has three lawns, borders, hedges and enough growth in June to make it look like we've never been there.
We'd rather price your garden and your normal visit.
That makes far more sense.

What affects your regular maintenance price?
The biggest factors are normally these.
- 1
The size of the garden
More lawn, borders and planted areas generally means more work.
- 2
What we're maintaining
A lawn-only garden is very different from one involving hedges, beds, shrubs and plenty of weeding.
- 3
How often we come
A garden visited every two weeks is usually easier to keep consistently tidy than one left for long periods between visits.
- 4
How quickly things grow
Gardens change with the seasons. Spring and early summer are very different from January.
- 5
Access and waste
How easily we can move equipment and what we're doing with clippings and other green waste matter too.
Fortnightly or every four weeks?
For plenty of normal family gardens, fortnightly maintenance is a really useful starting point during the main growing season. The RHS recommends mowing conventional lawns weekly or fortnightly between March and October, adjusted according to weather and growth.
That doesn't mean your whole garden needs major work every fortnight. It means we're there regularly enough to stop everything getting away from you.
Four-weekly visits can work well for smaller gardens, slower-growing gardens, customers who do bits themselves, or gardens where the aim is simply to keep things generally under control. We'll tell you if we think you're trying to book us more often than you actually need.
Why have a regular slot at all?
Because this: “Hi mate, any chance you could come round and do the garden again?” followed by three days of waiting isn't a particularly good system.
With our regular maintenance service, the idea is: pick your day, show us the garden, we confirm your price, you confirm the slot. After that, your regular space stays in the diary. No rebooking every time. No trying to remember when the grass was last cut. No wondering whether your gardener is coming this month.
Why is there a three-month minimum?
Because once we give you a regular maintenance slot, we're reserving that capacity for your garden. We're not trying to trap anyone in a twelve-month corporate contract. We just need enough certainty to build sensible routes and give customers a reliable recurring day. So regular spaces are held for a minimum of three months. Simple.
